Our Summer Flag Football Camps are designed for players who wish to refine existing skills and more importantly become exposed to and learn many new skills while developing all four components of the game.

  • FREE PENN Shirt, Shorts, Socks, Football, and Mouthguard included.

  • Open to boys and girls, Pre-Kindergarten through 6th Grade.

  • Monday through Thursday.

  • 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

  • PENN Athletics Club (across from Holicong Park)

  • $199 per camper.

Flag Football Camp Schedule

Day One: Combine and League Kickoff

  • Combine Drills & Testing

    • Participants will run through a series of introductory drills focused on assessing core athleticism and foundational flag football skills.

    • Testing will include: 40-yard dash, agility shuttle, vertical jump, and passing accuracy challenges.

    • These metrics will help coaches group players for competitive parity in the league play.

  • League Play Begins

    • Teams will be formed based on combine results to ensure balanced competition.

    • The late morning will feature the first round of league games.

    • Emphasis will be placed on understanding basic offensive and defensive formations and rules of the game.

Day Two: Skill Development and Continued Competition

  • Skill & Drills Focus

    • Intensive instructional sessions targeting specific flag football fundamentals:

      • Quarterback training (footwork, throwing mechanics, reading defenses).

      • Receiver drills (route running precision, catching techniques, separation).

      • Defensive back work (coverage skills, flag-pulling technique, interception drills).

    • Small-group stations will ensure individualized attention from our experienced coaching staff.

  • League Play

    • Continuation of the league game schedule.

    • Counselors will focus on implementing the skills learned in the morning sessions into live-game scenarios.

    • Team-specific strategies and situational football will be introduced.

Day Three: Advanced Techniques and Playoff Positioning

  • Skills & Drills: Advanced Concepts

    • Focus shifts to more advanced techniques and team concepts:

      • Offensive play-calling and huddle procedures.

      • Defensive blitzing and zone coverage schemes.

      • Specialized positional coaching for running backs/centers.

  • League Play

    • The final games of the regular season will be played.

    • Results from today's games will determine seeding for the prestigious Day Four tournament.

Day Four: Super Bowl Tournament and Awards Ceremony

  • Super Bowl Tournament

    • The pinnacle of the camp: a single-elimination playoff tournament culminating in the Camp Championship.

    • Teams will compete for the "PENN Flag Football Camp Super Bowl" title.

    • Every team will participate, ensuring a rewarding day of competitive football and fun.

  • Awards Ceremony

    • Presentation of trophies and awards to the Super Bowl Tournament Champions and Runner-Up.

    • Recognition of outstanding individual performance throughout the week, including MVP, Defensive Player of the Camp, and Sportsmanship Award.

    • Closing remarks from the coaching staff and distribution of camp certificates.
