Girls Summer League

UNIFORM & EQUIPMENT
Each soccer player receives a matching Practice Shirt in addition to their normal Game Jersey. Black Pocketless Shorts and Black Socks are required for games, but you may use uniform items from prior seasons. Players must wear shin guards and soccer cleats while participating. They can be purchased at your local sporting goods store. Each child should also bring their own soccer ball and water to practices and games.

AGE GROUPS
Our leagues range from Pre-School through High School. The Boys Leagues and Girls Leagues are by single Grade, but if necessary we sometimes create two Grade leagues. Leagues are gender specific.

TEAM FORMATION & SPECIAL REQUESTS
Players are placed on teams along with their school classmates to facilitate carpooling and playing with friends, but also so kids can easily get together and play on their own. However, if you have a special request such as a particular coach, playing with a friend, or any other reason, simply enter it on the registration form and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

GAMES
Games are on Tuesday’s at 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM, with some games and any make up games on Thursday’s. Games begin Tuesday, June 24th and conclude mid-August. It is a seven game season and includes Playoffs.

GAME FORMAT
All Summer League games are Five-A-Side, which is four fielders and a goalkeeper.

LOCATIONS
Your Home Game Field Location is usually our closest location to your local elementary school district. Your Away Games could be at any of our other Locations, but are usually the next closest locations to your Home Field Location.

PRACTICES
Unlike our Spring and Fall Leagues, we do not schedule team practices during Summer League. However, some teams opt to hold practices individually on their own.

COACHING
Please consider volunteering. Coaches coach their team on game day. Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches receive a PENN Coaches Shirt. If you would like to be considered for a coaching position with your child’s team, please click the appropriate box on the Registration Form. The Head Coach reimbursement does not apply to Summer League, only Spring and Fall.

REGISTRATION
Registration is $149 per player. A Jersey is included. Black Pocketless Shorts, Black Socks, and a Soccer Ball is additional and available for purchase.
